1. What age do you feel right now and why?

I would say probably 25, because I feel fine. I don’t take age as a number some how serious. In certain things because of my background I am maybe older than my age is but on the other hand I am still crazy enough…

2. Which book are you reading now?

I read 2 books currently. The first is The Baltimore Boys by Joël Dicker and the just because it was recommended by Forbes as the book of the summer. The second is ‘The Positive Leaders’ by Jan Mühlfeit and Melina Costi. This book is about building a team based on the strength of the people.

3. What are your top 3 favourite books and why?

The first would be ‘The Tipping Point’ by Malcolm Gladwell. It is about how to approach things, and I think it was the book which influenced me a lot at the time I read it during my 4th year of university. The second, actually two books by David Ogilvy one about just advertisement and the second called ‘Confessions of an Advertising Man’. I realised that this book influenced me when I started my career in marketing in Roll Royce’s recalling it in certain situations. So, this pushed me to read it again. The third one I wouldn’t say a concrete book but rather an author even two I really like first is Erich Remarque and then Mario Puzo.

4. What is your definition of elegance?

Attitude. I think that there is nothing like a definition for elegance, for someone elegance is in that way or the other way. But what makes you to be elegant is your attitude towards the things. No one can tell you if you wear this and if you would do that, you will be elegant, I don’t think it is like that… it is all about attitude.

5. What are you the most passionate about?

I am passionate in experiencing, in the way to try new things or to enjoy the thing one loves.

6. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?

Around the world. I think this is a great way to learn new things, to gain experience. Of course, they are places I would prefer to visit, so I would have to prioritise. But on the other hand, you can find beautiful places 30 km from Prague or as well you can travel to South Africa which is beautiful, or I would like to visit more South America and Australia, but sometimes I am just astonished by the places we have in Czech Republic.

7. If you could only keep 3 possessions, what would they be?

My bed, just a good bed to sleep on, then pen and paper.

8. What is your philosophy towards your work, or role, or life?

To live fully your life. Of course, life brings positives and negatives, but it is just to enjoy every day and to keep the ability to have joy from very small things.

9. What do you worry about, and why?

I don’t like to worry, because if you worry what to do then… I doubt but I really try not to worry because if you live in fear you live only in half way, when worrying you can’t change things.

10. Who has inspired you in your life and why?

Definitely, my parents and my husband. The way how they live and the ways they make decisions and why. Inspired me also some of the teachers I had at school. In the work I do I am really lucky to meet interesting people and usually they inspire me by sharing their life experience. Tennis players inspired me as well, I think it is very difficult especially those at the top. To be on the court all the time alone, playing the game till the end without giving up even if they are losing.

11. What was one of your most crucial moments in life?

When our son was born. My philosophy basically is that there are always ups and downs in life, and nothing happens without the reasons. So, there were crucial moments for me even if I was unhappy maybe, I had doubts but then looking back now I am very happy they happened, and it makes me carry on.

12. If you could witness any event of the past, present, or future, what would it be?

Once when I am old and grey, I would like to turn back and to say ‘I had a good life, that was actually fun’, in a way I will have no regrets.

13. What are the 3 things you need, to be successful in your job, or role?

Definitely the support from my family, a great team and then having between the goal and the vision, to knowing why to do something.

14. Is there a skill you would like to learn and why?

Maybe to have better communication skills, I feel sometime to be too direct. Or when we do something with my team to be able to use less words to tell more.

15. What is the best piece of advice you’ve received?

Keep going and carry on. And maybe also ‘don’t think too much and carry on’.

16. What does a perfect day look like to you?

Easy morning, beautiful weather, being with people I like to be with, and to experience something new or nice.

17. What cheers you up?

Jokes and good spirit around me.

18. How do you define success and how do you measure it?

In terms of work, if you achieve what you targeted. And to have clear tasks and advanced planning, so you know how to measure it easily.

19. What part of your job would people find most surprising?

I think I am gifted and thankful working for Roll Royce’s, meeting the people I meet, this is a kind of surprising… but then people could be really surprised by how much detailed works is behind that and there are a lot of hard work of all the team behind the scene.

20. What do you do when you’re feeling uninspired?

I go somewhere, it doesn’t matter if it is to the park 500 meters from here or to fly somewhere else. But definitely change the environment and location where I am, and then inspiration comes back.

22. How would you define leadership?

Definitely, a leader is someone who leads and inspires. Also, someone who is able to be inspired by the others and to support the others. You can be only leader is you have people around you, and be able to establish a relationship with the others.
